Member Services

CalTIA staff maintains its corporate office in the Sacramento Area. CalTIA's staff directs the ongoing legislative advocacy, produces the bi-monthly newsletter, and organizes and coordinates CalTIA's special educational seminars, conferences, and trade show. With this presence in Sacramento, members' concerns and views can and will be heard. Additionally, CalTIA staff will serve as a clearing house and speakers bureau that members may access directly.

Communications Program

CalTIA Connection: This broadcast e-mail keeps members abreast of association news, event updates, and industry legislation.

CalTIA Ticker: This digest of travel industry news and trends is emailed only to CalTIA members.

CalTIA experts are made available to the media to comment on tourism-related issues and trends and their effect on our state's travel industry.

Tourism Political Action Committee

CalTIA sponsors the Tourism Political Action Committee. The Tourism PAC enables the voice of our industry to be heard in the legislative and administrative halls of Sacramento. California tourism has been politically mobilized.

California Conference on Tourism

CalTIA sponsors the Annual California Conference on Tourism. This Conference has become a significant opportunity for all the dimensions in our industry to come together. The Conference provides the forum to upgrade individual knowledge and insights, to refresh relationships, an to add a voice to the ongoing political discussion.

Rural Tourisim Conference

This conference is an extraordinary opportunity for professionals like you to interact with colleagues from a wide variety of rural businesses throughout California. Attendees meet industry leaders from destination marketing organizations, chambers, parks, hotels, attractions and more. There is plenty of time that’s planned for networking amongst each other – creating additional opportunities to learn from others.
