The California Travel Industry Association’s California Conference on Tourism has become a significant opportunity for the industry to come together. The Conference provides a forum to improve individual knowledge and insights, to refresh relationships, and to add a voice to the ongoing political discussion. At the conference, participants are offered a host of professional development sessions aimed at raising awareness of industry trends and changes, developing marketing strategies and improving business practices.

We’re excited to present the JW Marriot Resort & Spa in Palm Desert as our conference site this year. Situated between the Palm Desert Golf Course and mountains that seem to touch the sky, this property is truly a desert oasis providing a wonderful backdrop for our varied conference events – from general sessions led by top-notch, nationally-known keynote speakers to high-energy, fun-filled receptions and dinner galas – we’re sure you’ll want to attend (and maybe even take a few days on either side to explore it’s surroundings)!

California Conference on Tourism 2007

On behalf of the California Travel Industry Association Board of Directors, Staff and Conference on Tourism Planning Committee, we would like to thank you for attending the 2007 Conference on Tourism in Sacramento.

Through your participation in last year’s conference, it was a tremendous success. We held our first ever EXPO at COT a 30 booth tradeshow that included a wine and cheese reception and luncheon. The conference also included a very informative line up of general session speakers and great educational breakouts.
